Program Overview

Programs are pending final confirmation by the host program/host university and the ability for students to travel to and enter their host country.  Travel restrictions will be monitored and the program status will be communicated to applicants during the application process. IHECS is located in Brussels, Belgium, and is one of SRU's exchange partners.

Program Requirements

  • Students must have a minimum GPA of 2.5 to study abroad, however, some SRU international partner institutions may require a higher GPA
  • There is no class level requirement for study abroad at SRU
  • Disciplinary files will be requested from the Office of Student Conduct, for each applicant, and will be taken into consideration during the review process.
  • Please make sure to check with the Financial Aid (if applicable) for academic and other requirements that pertain to potentially receiving aid during your study abroad experience.

Accommodation and Meals

IHECS does not offer on campus housing, but our office will assist students with any needs they may have in finding housing for their time overseas.

For information regarding vaccines and medicines visit the CDC. **Vaccines are the financial responsibility of the program participants and not covered in the above costs.
